A Natural-Chic Holiday Table

It’s the holiday season which means lots of gatherings around the table with friends and family. A big part of the meal experience is the table setting. I was invited to contribute to Edible Asheville’s Holiday 2016 issue to offer some designer tips to setting a lovely table. If you live in the Asheville area, pick up a copy to get inspired by local designers on how to prep a beautiful holiday table.

I love a simple table setting with materials that embrace nature’s raw beauty. Here are some items that I think are perfect for a natural-chic holiday tablescape that is easy for an afternoon or early evening gathering with friends. Most of these products are available from local Asheville artists and shops too! Read the details in Edible Asheville on how I recommend arranging these pieces on the table, some simple DIYs you can do in a matter of minutes, and also find out what simple herb I recommend to complete this table with a rustic green flourish.
