The Completed Sunroom!

sofa-sunroom_9377Good morning! Put on your slippers, pour yourself a hot cup of coffee, grab a couple of design magazines, and curl up in the corner of my deep sectional sofa. Welcome to my sunroom! I used to call this room the “family room” back when it had carpet and blue walls, but now that there are warm hardwoods and light walls, it truly feels like how a sunroom should feel. Warm, bright, open, and comfortable. Sure, there may be some things I still want to tweak and if I had more money I’d do things a bit differently, but not today. Nope. Today this room is done, and so am I—it was a lot of work to get to this point. This room feels so good and no matter what I do to improve the other rooms in the house, I think this will always be my favorite room. Read all about this room’s debut over on Apartment Therapy. Leave a comment to let me know what you think!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Love this room! I’m curious, did Opa’s painting get a spot in the finished room?

Great question! He gave us 2 paintings and I did try to work the black framed one into the gallery wall but chose his other painting instead (in the light wood frame). So Opa is still there!
